The Minnesota Senate Education Committee held the first hearing on
SF 971 today, the Minnesota “Safe Schools for All Bill,” developed
by Family
Equality Council and OutFront Minnesota. Several members of the coalition
to pass the bill testified before committee. Stephanie Hazen,
National Training & Advocacy Manager for Family Equality
Council (based out of our St. Paul, MN office) spoke eloquently
about the need to pass this bill.
