TOGETHER: A Queer Family-Building Conference That Feels like Home
Family-building as a queer person can be full of joy, and also full of isolation, misinformation, and systems that weren’t built for us. Family Equality is on a mission to change that, and we’re thrilled to be joined in this mission by great partners like PregnantTogether, a virtual community where people can access the information they deserve, connect without having to explain themselves, and feel held at every stage of the journey.
And we’re even more excited because PregnantTogether is hosting a special conference all about connecting our community with the experts, advocates, and care providers who support us on the family-building journey.
Happening November 4–5, 2025, TOGETHER is a virtual conference created by and for queer, trans, nonbinary folks, and solo parents navigating conception, pregnancy, postpartum, and parenting. Over two days, we’ll gather with experts, advocates, and community leaders for workshops, panels, and space to breathe.
From fertility and legal rights to emotional wellness and parenting with pride, TOGETHER brings our community into conversation with people who truly get it. You’ll hear from speakers like Ericka Hart, Trystan Reese, Emily Oster, and more—including many friends of Family Equality— and experience a space to simply be with others on the path.
This conference is grounded in the values that Marea Goodman, LM, CPM (they/them), PregnantTogether’s founder, midwife, and co-author of Baby Making for Everybody: Fertility and Family Building for LGBTQ+ and Solo Parents, has always led with: access to information, radical inclusivity, and care that meets people exactly where they are.
As the leading national organization for current and future LGBTQ+ parents, we couldn’t be more jazzed to be a part of such a mission-aligned, community-focused event…and we hope that whether you’re trying to conceive, already parenting, or just beginning to imagine what family could look like, you can join us in the festivities! .
