About

Jo Boileau is our Director, Institutional Giving. In this role, Jo is a member of our Development team and works across our organization to develop and maintain relationships with corporate and foundation partners to catalyze our work of ensuring the universal freedom to find, form, and sustain family.

He believes that giving is deeply personal, and approaches philanthropy as an opportunity to connect communities to causes, and causes to sustainable futures.

Drawing on experience across the nonprofit and higher education sectors, Jo brings a relationship-centered approach to fundraising and believes in the power of collective community action to create meaningful change for LGBTQ+ families everywhere.

Jo lives in northern Indiana with his husband Carlos, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Purdue University where he made history serving as Purdue’s first openly-gay Student Body President.
