Together, we can tell the story of LGBTQ+ family life over the past forty-five years so that future generations can tap into the strength, joy, love, and hope that’s gotten us where we are today.
Attend a virtual storytelling circle
Outspoken Voices is a monthly virtual program where LGBTQ+ families from across the country prepare, share, and listen to five minute stories that explore powerful themes. Together over the course of an hour on Zoom, we delve into the joys, challenges, hilarity, comfort, pride, and curiosity that comes with being an LGBTQ+ family today.

Prefer to share your story through text, art, photography, or other mediums? With our simple Google Form, you can share your story and attach photos, videos, audio, artwork, or any other materials that might illustrate your experiences. Once you submit your story, we’ll be in touch with more details!
Chat with our team
Our Associate Director of Archives, Storytelling, and Brand would love to set up a time to chat more about your experiences! Through one or two 30-60 minute calls, you will be invited to share your story, aided by informal, guided questions. After you review your recorded story and note any content you want restricted, it will be made available online in our living story library.
