Tig Notaro & Stephanie Allynne and Alec Mapa & Jamison Hebert to be Honored at Family Equality Comedy Event on November 8
Family Equality is gathering the funniest comedians for a night of love, laughter, fundraising, and change-making, and you’re invited.
Los Angeles, CA — Family Equality, the only national organization with a singular focus on LGBTQ+ families, will host Night OUT, on Saturday, November 8 in Los Angeles. The event brings together top comedians and the LGBTQ+ community and allies for a night of stand-up comedy in support of Family Equality’s mission and work for LGBTQ+ families.
“Since 1979, Family Equality has been at the forefront of the fight for LGBTQ+ families nationwide,” said Darra Gordon, CEO of Family Equality. “In California, where movements for justice so often begin, Night Out is more than a celebration. It’s fuel for action. Together, we are connecting families, educating leaders, and pushing for the bold protections every family not only needs, but deserves.”
In addition to an outstanding line-up of the best in comedy (to be announced soon), Family Equality’s Night OUT will honor two extraordinary couples whose visibility and humor inspire and encourage us all to see the world in new ways:
