LGBTQ+ families from across the country and around the globe will gather in Provincetown, MA for the world’s largest celebration of queer families – featuring a brand new “Family Night Out” block party.

Provincetown, MA – Family Equality, the national nonprofit advocating for LGBTQ+ families, is thrilled to announce the return of Family Week, the largest annual gathering of LGBTQ+ families in the world. Hosted by Family Equality and COLAGE and presented by CARE WITH PRIDE, Family Week takes place July 26–August 2 in the iconic LGBTQ+-friendly community of Provincetown, MA.

What began in 1994 with a few families on the beach has become a global tradition, with more than 600 families expected to travel from across the U.S. and even internationally to join in on the fun, reflection, and resilience that defines Family Week. New this year: “Family Night Out,” a joyful block party on Commercial St. filled with activities and community celebration.

Family Week is part of our broader mission to uplift, empower, and advocate for LGBTQ+ families year-round — creating lasting impact that goes far beyond one week of connection.”

In addition to Family Equality’s events, Family Week partner, COLAGE, offers programs for kids ages 5-18 years old. These age-specific activities combine fun and creativity with a safe space to talk about challenges, build confidence, and connect with peers who can become lifelong friends and support. COLAGE programming requires a separate registration
