Activism for Kids, Teens, and Young Adults

Has anyone ever told you that you’re too young to change the world? Well, Robin Stevenson is here to help you prove them wrong! Based on her award-winning book Kid Activists, Robin will teach you all about the young lives of famous change-makers around the world. Learn about Janet Mock, Martin Luther King, Jr, Malala Yousafzai, and more in this interactive, fun workshop for kids who care about making the world a better place!

Robin Stevenson is the author of more than two dozen books of fiction and non-fiction for kids and teens. She is a Stonewall Honor winner and Lambda Literary Award finalist and has won or been nominated for many other awards. Her books include KID ACTIVISTS, PRIDE: THE CELEBRATION AND THE STRUGGLE, PRIDE COLORS, WHEN YOU GET THE CHANCE, THE SUMMER WE SAVED THE BEES and many more. She lives in Canada with her family.

This workshop will occur at 11:30am PT/2:30pm ET.
