In the 45+ years that Family Equality has been connecting, supporting, and protecting LGBTQ+ families across the country, we’ve seen firsthand: Love always wins — even when times feel impossible or scary. And we think that’s something worth celebrating! 

This Pride month is extra special, as it marks ten years of marriage equality in the United States. We’re honoring this anniversary by putting a 24-hour spotlight on stories of love, family, and freedom and garnering support for the work ahead. Join us on Tuesday, June 10 for our third annual Family Equality Giving Day! 

For the past several years, Family Equality Giving Day has been a day of LGBTQ+ love, joy, family, and changemaking. Together, we’ve raised thousands of dollars to support Family Equality’s critical work!

Last year alone, Family Equality worked in more than 30 states on more than 70 pro-equality policy initiatives. With our movement partners, we pushed back against 550+ anti-LGBTQ+ bills introduced in states across the country, and we hosted amazing community-building events in all corners of the U.S. from the beaches of Provincetown to the heart of the Midwest to the comfort of our computer screens! We’ve also worked to shape the LGBTQ+ family narrative, putting a national spotlight on our families stories so that the truth of who we are cannot be twisted. 

This year, there’s no secret that this work is especially important, which means it’s time to make Family Equality Giving Day bigger and better than ever! Here’s how you can get involved:
