A legacy gift (also called a planned gift) is a meaningful way to support Family Equality in the future — often without impacting your finances today. Anyone can make a legacy gift regardless of income or estate size.

Ways to make an impact
Bequest in a will or trust: This is the most common type and can include a percentage, dollar amount, or specific asset.
Beneficiary designation: Add “Family Equality as a beneficiary of a retirement plan, IRA, or life insurance policy.
Other options: Charitable gift annuities, donor-advised funds, trusts, gifts of stock, or gifts of real estate are options too.
