Family Equality is partnering with media group Equal Pride to provide regular editorial contributions centered on LGBTQ+ families — their stories, their joys, and their needs.
New York, New York — Family Equality is thrilled to announce a partnership with equalpride, a portfolio of media brands serving the LGBTQ+ market.
equalpride is proudly LGBTQ+ owned and operated and their brands include Out Magazine, The Advocate, Advocate Channel, Pride.com, Out Traveler, and Plus Magazine. Together, these properties capture the many facets of the LGBTQ+ experience and reach millions of readers and viewers every month.
As part of the partnership, Family Equality authors will have regular editorial contributions on at least one of their channels. Look for stories about the joys, challenges, and hopes of LGBTQ+ families and how Family Equality is advocating for them. Family Equality and equalpride are kicking off the partnership with a piece for The Advocate, “Family Equality: Ready for the Fight Ahead.”
“We look forward to reaching the equalpride audience and growing the partnership in the future,” said Stacey Stevenson, CEO of Family Equality. “Since becoming the CEO of Family Equality, my team and I set out to create an organization of outspoken changemakers creating an equitable LGBTQ+ family narrative.”
“At the center of this work is sharing stories that change hearts and minds, offering our expertise to current and future LGBTQ+ families, and putting a national spotlight on the joys and challenges of the work for full lived and legal family equality.”
“We are beyond excited that this partnership will help us inch closer to this vision.”
