Family Equality Requests Proposals for Family Equity Justice Survey Program

The Family Equity Justice Program is a research-based initiative that seeks to understand how BIPOC, economically alternately-resourced and under-resourced, and/or geographically remote families who live outside major urban centers experience the LGBTQ+ family journey.

New York, NY — Family Equality, the leading national nonprofit for current and future LGBTQ+ families, seeks potential research partners and consultants to assist us as we develop the Family Equity Justice Survey, a component of our Family Equity Justice Program

The FEJ program is a research-focused initiative that seeks to understand how BIPOC, economically alternately-resourced and under-resourced, and/or geographically remote families who live outside major urban centers experience the LGBTQ+ family journey. The FEJ Survey is an essential component of this program.

As we embark on this chapter of the work, we are looking for partners to help us conduct a literature review, identify enough of our target population to take the survey, engage with participants as interviewers/researchers, review and code the date, and interpret the results of the survey in order to share our findings and understandings internally and externally with the goal of increasing diversity and inclusion of perspectives and needs that have not been fully addressed by our organization and our allies in this work.
