Mark Trolice, M.D.

Mark P. Trolice, MD, MBA, FACOG, FACS, FACE is Director of The IVF Center. As Professor at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine, he is responsible for the medical education of OB/GYN residents and medical students. He is also the past President of the Florida Society of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI) and Central Florida OB/GYN Society.

Double Board-certified in REI and OB/GYN while maintaining annual recertification in these specialties, Dr. Trolice has been awarded the American Medical Association’s “Physicians’ Recognition Award” annually. Every year since 2007, his fellow physicians select him for Top Doctor in America®, honoring him as one of the top 5% of doctors in the U.S. He recently obtained an MBA and is currently pursuing a CPE (Certified Physician Executive).

Among Dr. Trolice’s awards are the Social Responsibility and Leadership Awards by the National Polycystic Ovary Syndrome Association, The American College of Ob/Gyn National Faculty Award for Excellence in Resident Education and Mentor of the Year Award, as well as the Osler Teaching Award.

In addition to serving on the Family Equality board, Dr. Trolice is on the board of the Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (SREI), serving as Private Practice Director and Continuing Medical Education representative to the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM). He also serves on the ASRM Membership Committee, Podcast Task Force and video review committee as well as the SREI Member Services Committee, Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology (SART) Electronic Communication Committee, and the American College of Ob/Gyn (ACOG) District XII Committee on Scientific Programs. Dr.  Trolice is a section editor for the Journal of Assisted Reproduction and Genetics (JARG) and on the editorial advisory board of Ob.Gyn.News where he provides a monthly column on topics in reproductive medicine. 

In 2023, he began serving on the American Board of Ob/Gyn Assessment Development REI Qualifying Subcommittee. Dedicated to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, he annually advocates on Capitol Hill and the Florida state capital for infertility insurance coverage, research funding, and awareness. In addition to extensive publications of scientific studies and medical articles, he is a reviewer in leading medical journals including JARG, Fertility & Sterility, and Human Reproduction, and lectures at national and international seminars. He appears regularly on TV news/talk shows and radio.
