Trans Day of Visibility: Building Power and Solidarity Across Generations

LGBTQ communities, backed by our loved ones, are fighting for a world where everyone can thrive. The current administration is trying to divide us in order to rule us. They are targeting transgender people with illegal executive actions that restrict our access to health care, jobs and our true identities, while also attacking migrant, Black and Muslim folks. They are trying to overwhelm and divide us, but we have power together.
On Transgender Day of Visibility, Monday, March 31 at 7 p.m. EST, we are strengthening our muscles for coordinated resistance by standing together to defend and uplift one another through this virtual meeting.
To meet this moment, a nationwide coalition* of LGBTQ movement organizations have come together to present a mass call featuring powerful trans leaders and their allies who will ground us in the work, connect us with one another, and uplift steps we can all take to build a world that is for all of us.
*These are the host organizations for this event: Advocates for Trans Equality, Equality Federation, Family Equality, GLAAD, Human Rights Campaign, Lambda Legal, The National LGBTQ Task Force, and Transgender Law Center.
