time to give thanks.
2007 has been a year of ups and downs. It was a year of victory and
challenges, a year of laughter, celebration, tears and triumph. But
through it all, we grew stronger and smarter. And we grew
closer.
And that, on this Thanksgiving, is why I’m thankful.
I’m thankful for the smiling faces of our children. I’m thankful
for the good intentions of family members. I’m thankful that our
country is becoming better educated about our families. I’m
thankful that this movement is making great progress. I’m thankful
that schools, in record numbers, are stepping up the plate. I’m
thankful for the passion of our community and the hours we all
dedicate to our families. There are so many reasons to be
grateful today. So many reasons to celebrate.
