This summer, we launched a brand new, online home for Family Equality Council! If you’re a regular visitor, you’ve probably already noticed the improvements:
- the website is easier to read on mobile devices
- the menus got a complete overhaul, making the website easier to navigate
- we built a new Story Library, to showcase the stories and experiences of LGBTQ families across the country.
The new website lays important groundwork for some exciting new programs Family Equality Council is launching in the coming months, so stay tuned for more news! (If you haven’t already, join our email list to be the first to know as new programs and services become available.)
Of course we didn’t do this work by ourselves! The months-long website redesign project was handled with attention, precision, and care by the wonderful team at Clockwork in Minneapolis, as part of their longstanding support of Family Equality’s work on behalf of LGBTQ families. We asked Nancy Lyons, CEO at Clockwork, to reflect on her team’s experience working on the project, and here’s what she said:
“We couldn’t be more proud of our 9-year relationship with Family Equality Council. That we’re able to amplify their inclusive, family-focused message and mission is a badge of honor. We look forward to being their partner as they continue to grow and make positive change in our communities!”
Truly, we cannot say enough good things about the team at Clockwork and the work they do. Visit them online or strike up a conversation on Twitter. You’ll fall in love. A huge thank-you from all of us at Family Equality to Nancy, Amber, Jay, Courtney, Adam, Matt, Kevin, Sam, Rick – the all-star team that put this together ❤️
