March 8, 2016 — Today Family Equality Council, the national advocacy group representing the country’s 3 million LGBTQ parents and their 6 million children, announces the debut of its National Board of Advisers.
The group is comprised of leaders who — with their career and life experience — offer invaluable insight to Family Equality Council. “These vital advocates regularly lend us support and guidance, helping Family Equality realize its unique vision,” says Brent Wright, Interim Co-Executive Director and Director of Programs at Family Equality Council. “We are thrilled to formally recognize this group, and are, as always, incredibly thankful for their contributions.”
