Liz was born to courageous Bolivian parents who immigrated to the U.S. when she was nine. She has a wonderful indigenous lineage of Aymaran miners and warriors from Lake Titicaca in Bolivia. She is an experienced bilingual financial management professional with over fifteen years of accounting and audit experience specializing in the accounting and finance needs of nonprofit organizations. Liz began her career as an auditor for BDO Seidman, LLP and then worked at Raffa, PC. Prior to joining Family Equality, she served for nine years as the CFO of Hispanic Access Foundation.
