Trying to Conceive/Fertility is a biweekly peer-run support space supported by the LGBTQ+ Perinatal Wellness Center for anyone under the LGBTQ+ rainbow who are working to create children to grow their families.
They say it takes a village to raise a family — and they aren’t kidding! Navigating the joys and challenges of parenthood, especially as an LGBTQ+ person, requires community, connection, and support. Family Equality’s virtual peer support groups allow you to connect with other parents and parents-to-be, learning from their experiences and sharing your own wisdom. Check out our upcoming meetings, explore fabulous offerings from our movement partners, and RSVP today!
On your fertility journey and looking for support? Join us and the LGBTQ+ Perinatal Wellness Center for this biweekly peer-run support space for anyone under the LGBTQ+ rainbow who are working to create children to grow their families.
Are you a trans, nonbinary, or gender nonconforming parent? Join us for our biweekly peer-run support space for any parent or caregiver who identifies as transgender, nonbinary, gender nonconforming, or anywhere on the genderqueer spectrum.
Check out these awesome support spaces from our movement partners!
Join Our Family Coalition every third Tuesday of the month from 6:00 – 7:30pm ET for their virtual Trans Youth and Their Family Peer Group!
This is a group for trans/gender nonconforming youth and their parents (of any gender or sexuality). Find support, learning, and empathy.
Starting a family can be overwhelming in so many ways. Join Our Family Coalition and other LGBTQ+ folks who are thinking about or are in the process of building their family on the third Wednesday of every month from 6:30pm – 8:00PM!
Every LGBTQ+ family is created differently, through adoption, fostering, surrogacy, donor conception, blended families, and every combination in between. For parents who are non-biological and/or non-gestational, that path can come with unique experiences: navigating legal recognition, building bonds in ways others may not understand, responding to assumptions about what makes a “real” parent, and finding your place in systems that often center biology or pregnancy.
To connect with others who share similar lived experiences, join Our Family Coalition on Wednesdays from 6:30 – 8:00PM!
