Committee Seeks to Make U.S. Census More LGBT Inclusive

While the U.S. Census has chosen not to count LGBT individuals in the past, a new committee is being put together to advise the Census Bureau on how to better address LGBT populations.  

While the U.S. Census has begun to include questions regarding same-sex married couples and partners, new questions may directly ask about sexual orientation and gender identity.
