The Obama administration has now given voice to a truth that a
majority of Americans have come to understand. That is, that ALL
families are valued in our country and deserve equal protection
under the law. This is an important victory for those children who
are growing up in loving households headed by same-sex parents and
can now take comfort that the federal government agrees their
families should be treated with respect.
