Annual Membership meeting on Friday, August 7, 2009 from 1:30 –
2:00 pm. The meeting will be held at Provincetown High School as
part of our 14th Annual Family Week. At this meeting members will
be provided an updated on the work of the organization and will
have an opportunity to give feedback to the Executive Director.
In addition, there will be a vote of dues-paying members on
the proposed new by-laws of the organization. Pursuant
to Art. 10.1 of the Bylaws of the Family Equality Council, the
Board of Directors hereby provides Notice to the Members of
Family Equality Council that there shall be a Meeting of the Family
Equality Council on August 7, 2009, at 1:30 pm, at 12 Winslow
Street, Provincetown, MA.
At the Meeting, Members will be asked to consider and vote upon
proposed amendments to the Bylaws. In accordance with Art. 10.1,
the amendments under consideration have been approved by the Board
of Directors, which recommends its approval by the delegates
present at the upcoming Meeting. If approved, the proposed
amendments will allow Family Equality Council to more efficiently
maintain its by-laws in order to best fulfill the mission of Family
