Today is 20th Anniversary of World AIDS Day

Today marks the 20th anniversary of World AIDS Day, founded in
1988. It was created to bring awareness to the HIV pandemic and its
challenges.

Worldwide, some 33 million people are living with HIV. 2.7 million
of those people were infected in 2007.
