Earlier this year Family Equality Council launched Project
Harmony, an initiative for LGBT families of color. In its first
year, Project Harmony seeks to understand the needs and concerns of
LGBT families of color in order to fully integrate their
experiences into a national model of service.
Harmony, an initiative for LGBT families of color. In its first
year, Project Harmony seeks to understand the needs and concerns of
LGBT families of color in order to fully integrate their
experiences into a national model of service.
To engage families of color and collect this information, Project
Harmony has held a series of dialogues around the country and conducted an ongoing
Internet survey called Lifting Voices.
The survey will close soon so our Project Manager can process the
data, which will be used in a report to be released next year.
If you’re a member of a family of color, please fill out our survey
today. Spread the word to your friends. The more knowledge we have,
the better our programs and services will be!
