Goodbye Friends!

I am writing this last blog post, with a happy but heavy heart, to
let you know that I am leaving Family Equality Council. I have been
offered a job at Harvard in event planning and I will begin on May
1st, so today is my last official day. We have already begun the
search for the new Program & Education Associate and that
person will be your future point of contact.  In the interim, feel
free to contact Nina Selvaggio, the Director of Policy &
Programs – nina.selvaggio@familyequality.org
– about any immediate needs, questions, concerns, etc you have.
We will be sure to let you know who the new permanent contact is
once that person is hired.  And as always, you can use our
website’s “Resource” section for any organizing/information
needs you may have.

I cannot even begin to express how much I have enjoyed my time
working with all of you, and will miss each and every one of you
dearly. I feel blessed that my first job gave me the opportunity to
network and be part of your loving families. I wish you all the
best of luck and hope to hear from you in the future!

And for those of you in the Boston area, the Cutie Patoots Reading
Nook is still on! I will see you there if you are coming!
