Over the next few months, Family Equality Council and Rainbow
Families of Minnesota will formally join together as one.
Both staffs are very excited about this union, as the great local
and regional work of Rainbow Families will be strongly supported by
the infrastructure, national scope and vision of Family Equality
Council, and Family Equality Council will be able to increase its
knowledge and experience with local best practices for serving
LGBTQ-headed families as it continues to seed and expand on this
work taking place in other parts of the country!

Jennifer Chrisler, Executive Director of Family Equality Council,
will officially announce the merger at the 13th Annual Rainbow Families
Conference in Minneapolis this coming Saturday, April 12.
