DESCRIPTION:Calling all LGBTQ+ prospective parents- especially our trans & non-binary parents-to-be! \nIn this LGBTQ & A: Community Conversation session we will be discussing strategies for self-advocating in fertility spaces. Too often\, as LGBTQ+ people\, we don’t have access to LGBTQ+ friendly and LGBTQ+ competent family building practitioners. This puts our community – specifically transgender and non-binary people – in a position of needing to advocate for ourselves and our needs while also being a patient and receiving services. During our time together we will be exploring how folks can balance self-advocacy and self-care. \nOur LGBTQ & A: Community Conversation sessions are interactive and a space for folks to come and listen\, but also engage and share their experience with the session’s topic.
