SUMMARY:Parenting: The Early Days - Peer Support Space (CANCELED)
DESCRIPTION:Parenting: The Early Days Peer Support Space meeting on October 10 has been canceled. We hope to see you at our next meeting on October 24. \nNew to parenting? Have an infant at home? Expecting and ready to talk about it? This group is for you! This peer support space is for new parents\, whether you’re preparing to welcome a child into your home or have already added to your family. \nThis group is meant for folks to connect\, building community\, and engage in conversation. Feel empowered to bring your frustrations\, joys\, questions & tools for coping- this group is meant to be whatever participants need it to be! \nThis group is facilitated by Ash Dasuqi\, RN\, CPM—a trans genderqueer midwife\, childbirth educator\, critical care nurse\, and parent. They created a trauma-informed\, evidence-based childbirth preparation curriculum called the Embodied Birth Class (www.embodiedbirthclass.com) that is open to all people while centering the experience of first-time pregnant and birthing queer/transgender individuals navigating birth and self-advocacy in and out of the hospital. Follow them on Facebook and Instagram to learn more. \n  \nUse the form below to RSVP and receive log-in information: \nOops! We could not locate your form.
